Windi Rosson is a self taught, self representing artist.
Her paintings can be found in corporate and private collections around the world.
Windi started out selling online at various sites and has sold over 700 paintings worldwide.
"I believe in keeping a diverse price range, which allows people of all economic backgrounds the opportunity to purchase quality, original art.
Plus it allows me to move out paintings at a steady pace, so they are not stacked up to the ceiling in the studio".
Working primarily in oils and acrylics Windi's style is undefined and prolific.
"I prefer to pull all of the images for my paintings from my imagination. I believe when I do this, the painting truly does take on a life of it's own. I know that sounds silly but it's true.
It's also very challenging, as I do not have one set picture in my mind that I know I'm going to paint.
They can start out in one direction and evolve into something completely different in a very little amount of time.
But that's also the fun part!"
Windi is an alla prima painter and often fuses various painting styles, with maintaining her distinctive flair.
Windi often ventures into other realms of art.
Including hand made jewelry, mixed media pieces involving natural elements, macro photography, acrylic & foam carving...to whatever her muse fancies that day.
"I get bored easily, so it's a good thing for me to always have something to get my hands dirty and explore with. Which usually results in a tremendously messy studio."
For the past few years Windi has been concentrating a lot of time on art shows. Which are held all around the country.

"I just completed a run of 50 new pieces in Jan. for Art-O-Mat.
I am currently working on show pieces for the coming year,and goofing off...but just a little bit."
Windi grew up on the central coast of CA, moved to Upstate New York, Alaska, Tennessee, and currently resides in GA.
"Being an Army Wife for 20 years was tough, but well worth the adventures we got to have.
Having the chance to live in some of these places, still gives me inspiration to this day"
Windi has a private 700 sq ft. studio on 5 acres in the middle of the woods.
She shares the property with 2 dogs (Jackson Hound & Bear Le Bing Bong)
3 cats (Freddy, Shelly, & Celia)
4 fish (names withheld)
1 husband and 1 daughter.
